The preliminary investigation/interview has been set for:
Please review the enclosed preliminary interview questionnaire and answer all questions to the best of your ability. This will aid us in conducting a most unbiased final investigation.
The following is a general investigative procedural outline (subject to change, not all investigations are a like).
1. Client contact
2. Preliminary interview/investigation date and time established
3. Preliminary interview/investigative questionnaire mailed to client and filled out
4. Preliminary investigation/interview conducted
a) Investigative interview with client(s) performed by separate investigator
b) Baseline electromagnetic field readings, baseline electronic voice phenomena readings (voice recorder) as well as baseline photos will be taken. This procedure will be performed by a single investigator simultaneously to the interview.
c) Signing of permission to investigate premise form as well as permission to make any evidence public knowledge form (minus personal information) will take place at this time
d) Specter Quest wil take care of notifying the appropriate law enforcement officials that an investigation will be taking place. At this time we will need a contact name and phone number to give the officials to confirm permission. Notification does not always need to happen especially if the client is going to be on premises during the investigation.
e) The final preliminary investigation/interview will only take about 1 hour
5. Research of property history will be done at this time is deemed necessary
5. After reviewing of gathered baseline evidence and reviewing the questionnaire a final investigation date will be set. In addition, the preliminary findings will be reported to client orally.
6. Official investigation conducted
a) Usual arrival time 8:00 PM
b) Typical number of investigators range from 3-8
c) Set up of equipment. At this time a base station space will be needed for computer and video mooring units
d) Length of investigation ranges from 3-6 hours (including breaking down of equipment, cleaning up etc.)
e) Analyzing evidence could take up to 3 weeks
f) Set up date of final report presentation
7. Presentation of final report and any evidence collected (client will receive a copy of all evidence deemed pertinent).
8. Final thoughts, comments and orientation of any follow up to take place
9. Presentation of customer survey
